Elizabeth Pierce is a wife and mother of 2. She began her career as a therapist in 1996, after obtaining her Bachelor of Social Work from Western University and her Master of Social Work from The University of Toronto, moving into a position of leadership in 2010. Since then, Elizabeth has led staff teams through professional development, strategic planning, small and large scale changes, all with a view towards excellence and strength. This has included working under the leadership of a Board of Directors. She has also worked extensively with community collaborative tables, bringing together multi-sectoral leaders to find common ground to effect change with a specific population for a specific purpose. Additionally, Elizabeth actively provides formal and informal one on one leadership coaching to other community leaders, as well as large group leadership training. As a volunteer, Elizabeth has served as Board Chair for a National not for profit organization, along with providing ad hoc leadership to various initiatives in the community.
